Comprehensive fire risk assessments for your security and peace of mind
At TC Fire, we recognise that no two premises — and no two clients — are the same. Every Fire Risk Assessment is carried out with a tailored approach, ensuring the specific risks, layout, and use of your property are properly understood and addressed, rather than relying on a generic checklist approach. Our aim is to provide clear, practical fire safety advice that protects people while avoiding unnecessary costs for our clients.

Multi-Site Discounts
We offer discounted rates for clients with multiple properties or locations. Where several sites require fire risk assessments, we are happy to discuss and agree on a competitive pricing structure that provides value across the entire portfolio.

All of our Fire Risk Assessors hold the Level 4 Intermediate qualification with the National Association of Fire Risk Assessors, demonstrating a recognised standard of professional competency in fire risk assessment. Our assessors are also members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, ensuring that we operate in line with current industry guidance, professional standards, and continuing professional development.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, anyone responsible for a non-domestic building must carry out a fire risk assessment to identify hazards and ensure appropriate fire safety measures are in place. This includes business premises, commercial units, offices, shops, warehouses, and communal areas of residential buildings.
Following changes introduced through the Building Safety Act 2022, which came into force on 1 October 2023, all responsible persons must now record their fire risk assessment in writing, regardless of how many employees they have.
Fire risk assessments are also required for many types of residential properties where there are shared or communal areas, including HMOs (Houses in Multiple Occupation), blocks of flats, converted buildings with shared stairwells or corridors, and some holiday accommodation.
In simple terms, if you are responsible for a building used for business purposes or shared residential accommodation, you are legally required to have a documented fire risk assessment in place.
We are experienced fire safety professionals with a combined total of over 40 years’ service within the Fire and Rescue Service. Over the past 10 years we have specialised in carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across a range of premises, including HMOs and residential properties.
Our background in operational fire safety, combined with extensive experience in fire risk assessment, enables us to provide practical, compliant, and proportionate advice to help clients meet their legal obligations and improve fire safety within their premises.
